I have thought that for a long time the Battlereport would come out this week, and the Beta would come out april 1st or march 31st so i think ill stick to it and i think this may be a countdown to the beta announcement.

 

Awesome. Now we can finally see if all of our complaining and discussing had any effect at all. Maybe it's a countdown to the moment where we are all kicked back into the real world. I cannot wait...

Although i doubt jon would be stupid enough to leave us a very obvious hint hehe

 

*faints* Maybe it's a mineral hunt and the prize is a beta key. I won't miss it this time.
Or jon is laughing his ass of because we are getting excited about something which turns out to be the next april 1st joke.

Its the countdown until the mods decided to give me a beta key for contributions to the forum.

 

Coundown till the L4D forum awakens. Look at the colour scheme... sheesh. IIRC those two sites are our direct affiliates so it's just coverage for our sister site.

 

idk it seems like that forum is.. pretty awakened though i do see the redness.

 

I don't know if you've clicked anything there but nothing works at the moment. Also note how the timer is above the news section on our site, and how sc.org also has an L4D banner at the bottom.

 

I agree with Seradin. L4D looks tp be up and walking. Sclegacy's timer is in blue not red so I'm for one to join in thinking this is about SC2 beta.

 

actually i did just lick the link.. looked at some news posts, then clicked the link to the forums and saw a similar set up to this, with people posting new topics, etc.. what isnt working currently??

All of the Countdowns for April 1st are red, the blue one is for the re-opening of SC Legacy.

 

None of the official Blizzard sites have it. The breaking ice, now that was something big because it was everywhere. This... is just a collaboration of the three sites.

I could of course be wrong, but at least I'm not getting my hopes up (probably) unnecessarily

 

lol well thats what this is for, speculation.

nobody really knows except the people that put it there.. so will just have to wait and see or beg someone for some hints .

 

Its so obviously beta, heres why:

1. Battlenet 2.0 arrives.

2. Blizzards at the right time for testing MP

3. its sc1's anniversary soon

4. its april fools soon.... (... yeah.. i dunno)

5. **** left for dead.

 

OK so the site does work... I just clicked some random link earlier today and it gave a 404. Anyway. The timer would definitely be on Blizzard sites to create mass hysteria, which we all know Blizzard is fond of. Its absence points towards this being a community driven surprise. Unless they're actually keys, because then there's no need for a central timer on official sites.
