My Propaganda Art Contest Entry

I just finished my artwork and entered the competition (so there is no use trying to enter with this image). Here's what it looks like:

What programme did you use?

 

I used Adobe Photoshop and paper / pencil.

The text in the top left looks warped... did you write on a circular path? Looks like a text effect and then rotated 45°. Also if you wanted to emphasise this skin thing (a good idea, especially because Kerrigan's good looks despite being infested got some attention) then why did you use this art style? It fits the concept of propaganda alright, but it doesn't deliver the message as it could. A sharp and realistic close-up of her skin would've worked better I think.

I could have gone for a lot of different art styles, the decision was quite hard actually. I opted for this one because like you said, it stays close to the 'propaganda' theme. In my opinion propaganda never is realistic, hence why I didn't go for the realistic approach.

Anyway there is a LOT of competition so I don't expect to even end in the top 10.

@ AcE_01 That's where the idea came from indeed. I tried to apply the same concept, be it a bit 'rougher on the edges'.
