First of all, I created this poll because I wanted to know the community's opinion for mutalisks evolutions. A lot people say that devours aren't that resourceful and are worth more then their cost. Mutalisks are stackable (If you know how to) and fast so you can attack and fly away and come back when ever you feel, they are good base raiders and personally I like them. They are classic Zerg units and I'm sure no one wants to get rid of them. If someone has some idea of changing a unit please say something I would like to hear your thoughts. If you voted for more evolutions please state your idea.

    Discuss.

Mutas rock, I love them, best tactical air in the game. Devourers rock, I love them too, their design(not visually) is just awesome, best AA support air unit in the game IMO. Guardians I like but don't always need even in late-game, still a very good unit nonetheless.

I like both evolutions but a third aspect is always welcome.

I think it should be 2 evolutions, more is to much. One should be AA and one against ground, but they dont have to be devourer and spidey. New looks and names would be great. The muta should stay, and perhaps spidey too(but faster please :p)

@Paragon , simply saying it was in the wrong section would have been enough.

I'm sure someone will move it ;)

Meanwhile........ I'd rather not have the only serious anti-air unit in the game come from the Mutalisk. And if it did, it had better have a faster and/or more powerful attack...

LOL, I completely missed the whole thing after my second post. I got to the topic from the front page and didn't see that it was in the Terran section.

Let me channel my psionic powers and move the topic. Oh wait, I don't have any psionic powers, better call Miss Cleo instead.

    Re: Mutualisks

I think two is good, but a stronger version of mutalisk with higher damage, health, slower speed, attacks ground and air. If not, then that's fine. I always thought of the guardian devourer combination as the Zerg form of Tank + Goliath. ie: damn hard to beat.

Quoting a post in its entirety is against forum rules, unless it is relatively short to begin with.

Quoting a post in its entirety when it's the post immediately before yours is VERY MUCH AGAINST FORUM RULES, and is an act hated by mods. Arrggggg~

I will enforce a penalty on the next person that does it.  Please read the forum rules.

    Re: Mutualisks

"Mutualisk = Love is in the air for zerg units lol ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
the mutalisk will definitely be seen around soon and bout d evos?? im pretty sure there will be new ones and maybe theyll retain 1 former evo hope its crabby boy (guardian) coz hes a nuker and a sniper though maybe they can change to improve his speed by a timble... devourers are the best anti air units combined with mutas in air any force will surely be engulfed by zergs air units in no time...

"evolution is a mystery, one change that no one sees"

so we are really not sure what will we see..

    Re: Mutualisks

At first i thought "Mutualisk" was a wordplay on "Mutual" and "Mutalisk". Oh well :p

I definitely believe Mutas should get more options of evolution. In fact, i think every unit should get some kind of evolution, although that discussion has no place in this thread.

In particular, i would appreciate of Blizzard to alter the forms of Devourer and Guardians so that they're not total crossovers from SC1. Either that, or adding special abilities to them to make them distinct. In any way, since i voted for option 5, i'd really like too see a diverse option of sub-forms.
