Is there any third party software to allow you to play mutiplayer aside from BNet for testing maps prior to the release version?

Like any kind of LAN software or private lobby software that just connects the other player directly to the game.

 

If there is, it probably breaks the terms of service Blizzard has set out for the beta.

 

They've already stated they'll be instituting "private" maps that only your friends can play and cant share.

 

He means a program that will let him test his maps he makes without making use of battle.net.
