Most effective way to attack with workers

When lings rush early, I generally have to click one by one. However, I think there is a better way to do this. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

what why? why do you have to click one by one? cant you just select all your workers and attackmove his lings?

 

You can try and get perfect surrounds on individual lings by first doing a regular surround as much as you can, then to bypass other lings click a mineral patch with the workers you want to pass lings with. I think... haven't tried it, just came up with it lol. It'd be better than a simple A-move because you focus fire and thus dispose of lings faster.

 

Well if they don't have anything to defend I would split the lings up into groups of 2, 2 lings per worker, requires alot more APM and micro but it pays off in kill efficiency.. (Small numbers of lings, but be prepared to back off if they auto attack all their workers)

If however you have a crap ton of lings then just getting into the line then auto attacking is usually best.
