From http://www.battle.net/forums/thread.aspx?fn=sc-general&t=196529&p=1&#post196529 nice to see the gold mineral mystery solved. Protoss War Shine woooo!
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net Well, at least now we got rid of the Citadel of Adun...the one shot space taker of the Protoss
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net thank god that gold mineral dispute is over! and no more citadel of adun!!!
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net Amen brother. Amen! Lots of great info in that too. Blizzard seems to be on their game when it comes to keeping the community happy with frequent information.
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net protoss war shrine. i like the sound of that. forge sounded more terran. citadel of adun was nice. yellow minerals greater quantities. so where do we see them, middle of the map?
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net Yeah, from the sounds of it they will be towards the interior of a map. If we can assume that there are 12 people on a map, i'm guessing that the rest of the expansions will be behind the bases. They could still be attacked but they aren't as high priority as the yellows. I like the strategy that this is going to make.
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net does protoss war shrine replace forge? i don't think so. i only thought it replaced citadel of adun
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net yes a complicated one. anyway i hope they will allow resource sharing, so like for example your ally base is nearly destroyed and he dont have enough minerals to rebuild, then you can back him up with minerals so that he will be back in no time and serve your team once again. no, maybe the war shrine contains most of the upgrades for basic ground units. citadel of adun and forge combined as one.
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net I'm takin a good guess and saying it replaces the Citadel of Adun, considering the fact that after its one upgrade, it just took up space
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net I'd have to agree with this. I don't think the extra mineral type will make strategy complicated. It's just going to be one more thing to make things interesting and exciting. The more I think about it the more I love the idea. It's not like their adding a new resource altogether. It just brings them in faster. I like the resource sharing idea too. In bigger games this will create some crazy games that could all of a sudden turn around in a losing teams favor. Once again, more interesting and exciting strategies while still keeping the flavor of SC.
Re: More FAQ Answered - battle.net You'd think so but if you've played enough WC3 games you know that isn't true.
