Missiles! Not lasers!

There should be missiles for Terran not crappy lasers. Lasers are for protoss.

goliath and wraith shooting missiles

banshee, tanks, and thor should have visible missiles that hits when reaches the target

i mean...who would like to see a helicopter shooting lasers? thats too protoss

terran = missiles
protoss = lasers

 

The Banshees don't shoot lasers. They fire multiple and quick barrages of missiles.

The Battlecruiser would have to have large ugly missiles then. Which I don't think would be as frightening as a storm of lasers (Plasma Torpedoe) or one focussed shot that can tear down cities (Yamato).

I think the banshee attack is fine. But I wish viking attack in air form would look like physical missiles.

 

viking should have spinning animations for its missile attacks. and give the viking chain laser guns.. or at least we should the see "lights" created from the bullets coming out... look more powerful than invisible bullets.

 

I was talking about the viking's attack in air form(fighet jet). The attacks are yellow glowy comet things, it's looks kinda stupid. I think something that looks like the wraith or scout's old air attack(missiles) would be better.

 

The banshee shoots a mass of rockets causing maximum possible damage in a large area.

And the Battlecruiser had lasers in SC1
And protoss use psionic energy for the most part, not lasers (there was a many page long thread on this a while ago, I don't want to get into it).
The tank has energy balls in regular mode or something (don't know if they changed this in the new tank design), also not lasers.
Same with thor.

So really, you should be saying "missiles! not energy weapons!"

 

The viking air to air attack should have the missle drop a few feet below it and then take off super fast! Leave smoke contrails and have big fire!

There would be much cool.

Easily fixable. Get rid of the pods. And it would look much cooler. Or you could have a little charge lauch them out of the pod, and then the rocket engine start up, kinda like a javelin, if anyone's seen one... Take my word for it, it'd be cool.

 

I think so long as vikings fire missiles in air form, I'd be a happy camper. I don't really care about any extra detail or special effects. Because what they have right now, I really don't know what it's supposed to be.

 

give the viking mech form lasers! =)

ok if viking cant change have lasers attacks... then thor and cobra should egt it.

 

cobra has a laser attack.
thor has a laser-ish attack that looks pretty bad.
