Im really excited about this mouse, from what ive heard on video reviews its the best performance/value, software and ergonomics. Priced at about $50 I am going to be picking it up when it releases here in Canada. There currently is a laser vers with 5000dpi which essentially the same but has weights, led color customization and the extra dpi. It has onboard memory that can store 5 profiles and macro settings. I lolled at all the unnecessary details to make it look more pro. And I choked on my tea at the price tag. This is good performance/value? I would think a 10 dollar mouse suffices and a 30 dollar one kicks serious arse but 50? Though I am a layperson and I only know about the slow response time for cordless mice so I might be missing some things here. *hugs cordless Logitech EX110 mouse*
At $50 for a gaming mouse this is a reasonable price point, many of the gaming mouses now that sport similar features are $80-$130. I used to be frugal when it came to my mouse and laughed at those spending $50 on razer mouses but now that Ive used different gaming mouses I admit Ive been suckered in, but at the same time it has helped my gaming quite a bit and some of these mouses are exceptionally comfortable and useful in their features and design. With some of the mouses in the 50-60 range I have been dissappointed and Ive exchanged them but this one looks quite well and some of the shortfalls like software customization this one is said to be solid in as well. The big thing about these gaming mouses to me now are the ergonmics. I used to get sore finger joints from the way my hand fit onto the mouse but with the ikari design which is similar to this naos the problem was eliminated and I can play alot longer with alot more ease. So for $50 and everyday use its actually not to hefty of cost to pay.
What impresses me about that mouse, is that is it wired. That makes me take it seriously... although that cable looks flimsy.
