So eerh..... how do you make it so that you can pick up those mineral crystals/pallets and get minerals for them just like in the campain? i've tried to make some different mineral pallets/crystals but when i click on them my probe just stand there doing nothing D: so please help me with that xD
well i wanted to have it like when you move your unit to the MineralCrystal it would disappear and give you minerals just like in the campain... but when i took a random unit called "Mineral crystal" or something from the map editor where the depencies had something to do with the campain..... welll i had the same units as i could in the campain so yeah.... but as i said when i took a mineral crystal and placed it and tested the map when i clicked the mineral crystal my probe just moved over there and did nothing ... at that point the mineral crystal should have been destroyed and i would have gotten some minerals but no..... it did not happen D:
In the campaign, they probably triggered the actual taking of the resource. So the above would be good, except I am assuming you would also want to kill the mineral/vespene unit and to display a little text display above the unit that took the resources. There is a unit type called "Powerup" that you might be able to fiddle around with that MIGHT give you the functionality you want without having to trigger anything.
Triggers aren't complicated unless you make them complicated. Never give up in map-making, or you won't get around to learning anything!
