This game is awesome. I don't think there's a point ( I haven't found one yet) but I don't care. It's possibly one of the greatest games in existence.

 

Stopped playing the test version after saves were disabled...I should really buy the full version sometime.

 

I'm building a castle.

I need more stone.

When the TF2 blog advertised it I just played the demo and thought it was just a world maker...

When the uni break starts....

 

I've hollowed out an area equal in size to the Mines of Moria and I still don't have enough stone for my castle (which has expanding into having a dungeon built into a nearby mountain). I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've fallen into a magma flow. Pain.

It's fantastic though. I'm an addict.

But it was worth it because I built my house and tunneled a few km

It's fantastic. It's in Alpha right now, and is half price. Definitely recommended.

It's more addictive than WoW though.

I'm lovin' it. You can still play without making an account just use "Login/Password" for the login and password. I've wasted too much time already.

Fenix, is there any use to multiplayer? Like are the worlds persistent so we could all work on the same castle, etc. and come back to it?

 

Yeah, there is, though I haven't figured it out. If you go to http://minecraftforums.net/ , you can find a list of servers. You can also host your own but I haven't figured out how to yet.

 

So it's persistent, we could make a private server and all of us could work together? Kinda cool. I have a gigantic system of tunnels that I spent a long time trying to connect. Finally figured out a good way yesterday so now all my tunnels are connected. After digging like 40 surface holes. lol.

 

Mutli connects through IP and is pretty buggy atm, but yeah, you could set up a server.

I tend to dig down instead of out. It's kinda sad to look up after an hour of work and see the ceiling so high, it's started to fog.

Yesterday I hit a twelve block vein of diamond. Diamond pickaxes are omgwtf awesome.
