May 31 2009 StarCraft 2 is Coming Out!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure if its 4 real but the link below is a link from futureshop saying that you can buy starcraft 2 for $59.00 on may 31st!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, you took the time to search this forum but not the time to search Google? If you know anything about Blizzard you would know that we would already have to be half-way through the beta before this release date even remotely makes sense.

@Shadow. Postpone a date that haven't been set? Not possible. It's futureshop and not Blizzard saying it's May 31. If anyone has to move that date it's futureshop.

 

That date comes from misinformation given by the ratings board of Australia; not from Blizzard.

Blizzard always pulls some pospone date, just like they did with SC ghost. SC broodwar was also 'delayed' before.

 

And they definitely regret doing that. Notice how they waited with the WotLK release date announcement until they knew they could keep it. New Blizzard style is "when it's ready". They won't do the release date mistake again.

 

Didn't BestBuy do a preorder thing for Starcraft 2 set for release on December 3rd a long time ago?

 

you're right but u don't need need to be so negative. I was just showing that retailers are already getting ready to sell SC2 which is pretty exciting. but i understand how u feel tho, 10 years of playing sc/scbw can do that to u

 

Mike, for the last time, they are giving you that date so they can get your money. There's nothing more to it.

 

Amazon and game.co.uk put September as the release date.

Don't try to be foolish young one. Blizzard has already told you the release date 'When its ready'.

 

Blizzard hasnt even released system requirements... wise up kid.
