So I've put together a little scenario (a remake of an existing one in the Terran campaign) using some features that *should* make the mission harder / more interesting / more variety. I've tested it a couple of times and can't find any bugs, typos, erros, triggers that arent working as they should. But since I made the made I'm probably missing a few things. That's why I made it more challenging... The original mission was about eliminating this Zerg infestation on the planet. When you play the mission there will be some Zerg units spread out on the map, not something worth calling an infestation imo.. So I thought, how might this scenario be improved? - In an x-interval of time (90sec I believe) broodlings will be spawned on a certain marine and / or firebat, the marine dies in the progress. - Local inhabitants (civilians) have been infested, you need to kill as many civilians as possible before they mutate into a 'mightier' Zerg unit (zergling -> hydra -> muta -> ultralisj). - Queens will pop in and out of the screen - due to the spawned broodlings every other 90 seconds you can't leave any of your units alone, neither can you sit back and build up an army, since 1 (or two) of your units will die every 90 seconds. - the terrain has been rebuild to resemble the original terrain - one extra secondary objective - ... you get the idea.
You added some more resources I hope, that map is very scarce on them. I would know, I just played it again yesterday or the day before.
More resources? Are we talking about the same map? In the original Backwater Station you can finish the scenario without even harvesting a single mineral..
Yea I know that, but if you are adding all this stuff, then you will need to. Besides I like making overwhelming numbers of guys in that mission and just stomping the zerg. Upgrade troops all the way. Things like that.
I will later, can't just yet. However, I think you should do it a few times, with seperate difficulties. Also, I would like it if you redid missions 6-8 as well. They could use some sprucing up.
I'm planning on redoing all of the missions. So far I've redone missions 1, 2, 3, 5 and I've added an extra level. (it's a sub-level in mission 5).
I have modified Backwater Station to have three diffilculty settings: - Normal: 1 Marine and Firebat transform into broodlings once every 90 seconds - Medium: 2 Marines and 1 Firebat transform " " - Hard: 2 Marines and 2 Firebats + extra enemy units. I've also fixed some triggers concerning civilians

Start with Wasteland and Backwater Station will load automatically once you've finished the map. Let me know how they work out, and please, if you think they are terrible, say so =)
