Map Suggestions!

Ok this is my idea, i'm gonna make a civilization for Starcraft except there will be 3 different races instead of different countys. (Civilization World Legacy)
Depending on the race you choose it will allow you to do different upgrades and stuff. Like a terran player could choose to upgrade their marine to hero ones instead of staying regular ones(weaker) but a different player could try to get the tank upgrade. People can also choose to make allys/enemys start wars or keep peaceful. The races upgrade their races ages to get stronger tech/units.
Right now i need a map terrain which i'm not good at making and some suggestions for the ages.

 

what kind of terrain do you have in mind?

voted yes for renaming. If you're trying to create a game that isn't in the Starcraft universe, renaming is obligatory.

 

I like Renaming.

 

Custom names, so pretty much rename.

I'll draft a terrain if you want, but I can't do anything fancy.

Ages have no "Age" in them.

War of Dragons (?)
Dark Ages
Age of Might
The Fall
Age of Magic
Fantasy Age

Good luck. It gets REALLY complicated later. Maybe you should also choose starting locations as well?

 

I kinda want a Earth ish type but I guess any is fine. It has to be a map size of 255x255 which is max I think but the top and bottem has some parts which I can add race advancements and other junk i need.

I kinda like those ages. Terran will be the Human side so i'll go with sorta thing.

The Zerg I need help cause I can't really think of anything to base it on.

I'll draft a map, if you want. Is this like SC, alternate universe, or like some fantasy, medieval or something?

Marine could be Archer? Ghost could be Longbow? Siege Tank could be Siege Engine? Firebat could be Knight?

 

Units will have to depend upon the theme. For this, I am using a Fantasy/Tech example. Hero units are also used.

Terrans basic units should be like fantasy and the more stronger ones will be like tech. Any suggestions on Zerg/Protoss?
Right now I need the map terran to be decided.You guys want a map that looks like Earth or do you want me to design a unique looking map.

 

But do you like those names?

I'll do Zerg, Protoss, and Hero units too.

And I think new map will be fine. Too many Earths.

 

I'll ask Imagine to make a map terrain for me cause I fail at that kinda stuff :/ Heros I have some ideas for names so I'm fine. Same with Protoss! ^.~

 

Remember that IMaGiNe. is very symmetry-oriented. ;D

For earth ish terrain, you should go with badlands tileset, or jungle.

Please rename too.

 

It doesn't matter if you aren't doing Earth. Randomly place terrain, but make sure it has open spaces and etc.

 

Working on Terran ATM! Wish me luck cause i'm bad at that kinda stuff.
