Is it possible to avoid scrolling the map using the mouse ? Also can one use different ways other than arrows to scroll the map ? Like W A S D or the central mouse button way like in Warcraft III ?
When I didn't use the mouse to scroll I set it to the lowest speed possible - it did the job. But as you get better and your left hand becomes more preoccupied using groups and hotkeys, you'll use the mouse to scroll more. WASD is not possible because all the letters are reserved for hotkeys. I say try and master mouse scrolling and using hotkeys and groups more.
