    I'm new to Stracraft...Is there a way to scroll the map like in Warcraft III, by holding the central mouse button ? I can't get used to scroll with the mouse

    Not as far as I'm concerned. You can only scroll with the mouse, keyboard (although it's kind of annoying to use that), and you can combine it with clicking on the minimap with the mouse for faster movement.
    It should be enough though, maybe you just need to get used to the old system :p

    I think he means like up and down. You know how you can look at the ground more in w3.
    The answer is no. In sc you just look around the map. That is what you mean? Sorry I dont know.

    Ok, thank you guys. However, I meant that in WC3 you have three ways to scroll the map:

    1) arrow keys
    2) mouse scrolling
    3) drag map with central mouse button

    Since I've played for a while with WC3 and have always used method 3) I think I must get accustomed with mouse scrolling. Arrows keys are the worst option.

    I thought you can do all three in sc, I just hotkey CTR 1, 2 , 3, 4.

    You can drag the map, by clicking on the minimap.

    Arrow keys, who uses those? Take your hand away from where they need to be. Don't use them, unless your obs.

    No central click + drag map movement. Closest to that is clicking and dragging on the mini map.

    Welcome, please dont qoute people right above you. Be free to introduce yourself in our board called: 'introduce yourself'. The arrow keys are sometimes used by pros. For example if you are in the middle of a big battle and you have to micro perfectly with your marines. Then it easier to ues your left hand to scroll with the arrow keys, so you can focus your right hand on microing the marines.
