    For me, it is
    Blistering Sands,
    Desert Oasis, and
    Steppes of War.

Small two player maps, perfect for games less than 9 minutes. I prefer game to develop a bit before someone loses. What about you guys?

I was wondering which maps people didn't like. It's by no means a popularity contest as it is more of a what's a "flawed" or disliked map.

I love Lost Temple, but since my main race is Zerg, I'd have to vote that one away. It's hard to push in during early, if you got the most easy to block bottlenecks of all maps ahead of you. At least in my opinion. One could argue that maps such as Blistering Sands is easier because it allows for easy blocking at your natural expo, but without a ramp it usually isn't a problem for some well timed Banelings. ^^

Well right now the total votes is 6. I want it to be 7 but with no additional votes for any of the maps, because I like all of them and think they are all pretty balanced.

I have very bad luck with blistering sands and desert oasis, so I dont intend to continue the streak, though all maps are balanced imo...Some races could gain a little advantage from a map perhaps.

Blistering Sands and Desert Oasis, I left out my third vote.

Blistering Sands because it's hard to grab a third expansion when playing Zerg (which I'm doing a lot more of these days).

Desert Oasis is just obnoxious, small air rush distance, huge open spaces for people to attack your expansions, etc.

Other than that I like most of the other maps.

All maps are not balanced.. Most of the maps are wrecthedly UNBALANCED. Thats why alot of top tourneys use IICUP maps due to balancing done on them. Case in point Blistering sands is refered to as Zerg hell as it is almost completely designed to **** zerg.

(2 points of entry bottlenecks that than have high terrain = alot of dead zerg) as primary examples.

I voted out scrap station (6 pooooool! lol)

    and delta quadrant.

Scrap station has been bad luck for me, so I am playing custom games on it until I figure it out.

Delta quadrant has too much incentive to turtle for many players, which results in drawn out games that aren't fun when you just want to ladder for a bit

Kulas Ravine, Steppes of war and Blistering Sands.

As a zerg, I find those 3 very frustrating.

Kulas is so abusable for terran vikings or toss colossi, blistering sands is incredibly bad designed, making it one of the best T maps against Z, and Steppes of wara is just too small with a perfect choke.

    I hate them :(

Omg, have you ever tried to play a Terran going tanks on Blistering?

If you did, then you lost. Check out Psy replays if you'r not sure what am I talking about.

Real men don't thumbs down maps.

@Lombar: Wrong. It's just as easy to counter as anything else of its type. Get better. Stop being ignorant.

Like honestly, the mutalisk harass from Scrap Station and Desert Oasis is just too much to handle for Terran.

Of course, one of the main reasons why people vote down certain maps is because we want maps that suits our play style. It's all about winning and going up the ladder =D. Almost every Zerg that I play against in those maps go for 1 base mutalisk, talk about boring.

Blistering Sand is a very very hard zerg map. I can completely understand that. But it is fun when I am protoss.
