Map of the Month - What Happened? At this point in time, the Map of the Month competitions have been discontinued until support and participation grows. In the most recent event we only saw two participants enter and even though the genre was open, no one else put their thinking caps on. This topic contains a poll with which users can vote to see whether or not they would like the Map of the Month competitions to be continued. If the majority votes Yes then the Map of the Month competitions will be hosted by either me or someone else who qualifies to the head the position. However if the majority votes No then the Map of the Month competitions will be discontinued until StarCraft 2 and SCUMedit is released or if there is a sudden surge of interest in competitive map making. If you vote Yes and would like to see changes made to the current set of guidelines, please include your suggestions by posting a reply here. If you feel that the time limit given is too short or too long, feel free to voice your opinion. The Map of the Month competitions can be adapted and improved for everyone to enjoy.
