So I am very strategically minded, and i was wondering; we hear about many planets in SC and i realized that we really have no idea where they are all in relation to one another. It made me wonder just how the star systems of the Koprulu sector were laid out in relation to one another, so i went on an internet search. as im sure many of you know, googling "starcraft" and "map" together just digs up hundreds of multiplayer maps and not much else. therefore, has anyone ever seen a map of the Koprulu sector anywhere? id really like to see one if it exists. if not, i plan on making one, but i would need a source as complete and cannon as possible to do so. so, anybody know where i could find either of those things?
there is gonna be in a starmap abord the hyperion in the game itself. and the koprulu sector has too many planets and stars too efficiently map
That should be cool, definately. but until then, id like to make my own. nonsense. If there are maps for galaxy-wide things like star trek, star wars, and babylon 5, there can certianly be one for a relatively small cluster of stars like the Koprulu sector.
yes, but with star trek they actually split a galaxy in a couple of parts, with starcraft, the number of inhabitable planets is lower and more spread out, and, more importantly, we dont know if the koprulu sector is a galaxy or just a spiral arm etc. etc.
It's from the April Fools Day thing (Azeroth), as well as artistic, but it should give you a rough idea.
The Koprulu Sector is a small part of the Milky Way galaxy, on the opposite side of the galaxy from Earth. (In real-life, Earth is near the Milky Way's edge.) The official starmap shows planetary locations, but you can only really see it by closely watching the BlizzCon preview videos. According to one of the novels, if you go outward from Tarsonis, you run into Halcyon, and then Antiga Prime. Not much to go on.
I found the same image you can zoom on this pic. http://images.wikia.com/starcraft/images/a/a7/Azeroth_SC2_Cncpt1.jpg
