I recently bought starcraft 2 and installed it on my Macbook.

I have a 2.4 ghz dual core with only 2gb of RAM. Graphics is Intel GMA X3100

I have never had any problems before playing games on it, most demanding one I have played is Red Alert 3. But since I have been playing Starcraft 2 I didn't realise how slow my Macbook was.

Obviously there are only a limited number of things I am able to do upgrade my Macbook and with changing the graphics card out of the question was wondering if anyone else has upgraded their RAM to 4 gb and if that had made any noticeable improvement.

I seem to be handling every setting on low. Nothing is able to be put to medium without the game running hopelessly slow!

Intel GMA X3100 (or any Intel GFX card for that matter) just isn't good enough to play StarCraft 2 as playable speeds. You either deal with it or get a new laptop, since I don't think Mac books have upgradable graphics. Then again, better to have a Mac expert tell you one way or the other. Sorry dude.
