Mac randomly restarts while playing SC2

Just bought a new mac. All specs meet recommended settings.

Whenever I play online the cpu will restart at random.

Any help?

 

No clue man. Can you post more information on your Mac? Try running the software update and see if your machine has any new updates.

All I can really recommend since I'm = fail at Mac. Sorry ><

 

Blizzard tech told me to make sure video sync was checked under display settings. Seems like a video card overheating. so far so good. I'll keep you guys up to date.

If you have an nVidia card, read my FAQ about the nVidia overheating issue. It has information for both PC and Mac's.

 

I've talked with both apple and blizzard. Blizzard originally thought it was the graphics card overheating. I did everything on their check list and the last one has worked so far. ***Reinstall SC2***. So far so good. I will keep you updated

Fix!

I took the mac back to Best Buy and exchanged it for a new one. I did upgrade to the next level.

This one is 512mb graphics, 3.2mghz intel i3, 1 tb hard drive.

I have not had any issues with restarting on the new mac.

I honestly believe that it was that particular cpu that I bought originally not necessarily that model.


SC2 is awesome!
