Mac Problem - "Unable to authenticate your download"

Hey everyone,

I just digitally purchased SC2, and about 2/3 of the into the download I had an error.

"ERROR: Unable to authenticate your download".

I'm on a Mac, I tried two different browsers (Safari / Google Chrome) and this is a re-occurring problem. I paid 70 bucks for this game and I can't even download it.

 

I had this issue with the Windows downloader. First, I had to make sure I was behind a router with uPnP enabled, 2nd I had to redownload the installer. The connection I was on was actually the biggest problem. I had to make sure I was on a connection with uPnP router setup that the downloader itself could see the router and talk it into opening ports.

I personally hate having uPnP enabled on a router since its a huge security risk, but its the easiest way to get things working.
