I play SC2 on my Mac, and the F1-10 keys do have other functions in Mac, so for example, I can't select idle workers with F1, or open the menu with F10 etc.

Does anyone know how to change this?

I didn't think it was a big deal, but the more I play, the more it gets on my nerves...

I think if you press the 'fn' function key while you press an F-key, it performs its alternate application based function.

Goto System Preferences->Keyboard->Shortcuts and there is an option there to use the keys the other way around i.e they are regular function keys now and then when you press Fn, they change to the system control keys like brightness, pause/play, skip mute, etc.
