Ok, so I downloaded the demo after a friend gave me his free trial pass. LOVE IT!

1.) I have a MBP 17' with 8 GB Ram and upgraded to a 3.33ghz processor and my video ram is 512mp and my graphics card is an NVidia Geforce GT 330M.

2.) It recommended a low resolution for me, I think 1380x768. And it recommended low graphics on pretty much everything.

3.) The demo played fast and I was able to get through a few levels before my trial ran out. I tried tweaking invididual/all/some of the graphics settings but got slow speeds each time I tried to up the graphics.

    My questions are...

    1) Is it slow because its just the demo and will my speeds get faster when I purchase the game?

    2) Or is my computer just not good enough?

    3) Would it be faster if instead of downloading the full game, I should just buy the disc so it runs off of the optical drive? Or does that not matter?

    Thanks a lot!

    1) Its no demo, just some trial gamekey you can get. But it wouldn't make sense to slow it down since users therefor would rather not decide to buy the game then.

    2) Its all about your computer. Can't figure it out since im no Mac-User

    3) No, even if you'd buy the game with DVD you would install the same files, nothing loading from your DVD during play (not even necessery to have it inside your drive)

I'm on a MBP 15" with a slower GPU than yours.

I hate to break it to you, but the OS X version of the game is slow as hell. If you really want to get the most out of your machine, you'll need to install Windows via. bootcamp and install Starcraft 2 on that.

I have a bootcamp partition solely for games. It's the one area OS X just can't compete in.
