Hello everyone, I've posted something about this earlier but I never got a response so I figured posting it in the right forum block would help shed some light on my problem. Basically I own an Asus G50v with a 9700mGt and running a DuoT9400 on windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. I've done nothing to mod it and all parts are as they were when I orginally bought this laptop around 2 years ago. I know that this isn't that great of a gfx card but it should be able to handle medium settings. However, even on low settings, my fps will drop to 15-20 range. I don't have any problems playing FPS games such as modern warfare 2. SC2 also didn't recognize this card when I first entered the option menu so does this indicate anything? I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this similar issue? I've updated my card's drivers but that didn't do anything. If anyone could offer any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I really can' play the single player or battle.net with these crappy FPS numbers. Thank you so much for your time and patience.
Could you post your complete specs please? I mostly need processor clock speed and number of cores, RAM amount, used space on HDD/total space on HDD, and resolution. As far as the gfx card goes, you've got a fairly good one as far as mobility cards go. A bit of research shows it's fairly equivilent to the 9500GT. Anyone here got that card?
Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 @2.53 GHz 4 GB of Ram The hard drive of interest that I installed SC2 on has 30GBs left out of 120GB. If there's anything else that I haven't been clear about, please let me know. I'm not extremely tech savvy so I appreciate it. Thanks for the reply.
