Recently my computer broke down and I had to wait a couple months to buy a new one. In the duration of those months however, I managed to lose the cd. What I still have though is the Authentication Key on the CD case. My question is, is it possible to borrow a friends CD, use my Authentication Key to activate it, and then just use my Blizzard Account? Or will I need to buy the game all over again? Any help on the matter would be strongly appreciated!
I'm pretty sure you can use your authentication key to get a client off Blizzards website bro. Should be able to just enter it online, and then downlaod the game off blizzard. https://us.battle.net/account/management/get-a-game.html?gameRegion=NA This might be it but I dunno to be honest. I clicked on it and it said I had the legal limit of SC2 licenses in my region.
I'm pretty sure all DVDs in each particular region are the same. So any product key from the same region should work.
