I'm looking for the title of a game I played a very long time ago. It's a puzzle game (as in brain teaser) where you control a person who has to get to the exit point of the map, which features several kinds of traps. The ultimate twist to this 3D game was that you could rotate the mostly cubic map in certain directions, allowing you to reach places and also denying access to others. The closest I could compare it to is load runner, jet pack, and tomb raider 4(?) where you could rotate the environment in a similar way in one of the tomb levels. I hope someone recognises the game by this description and can help me out ^_^
How old are we talking? If it really IS that old and obscure, I suggest you try here: http://www.the-underdogs.info/ If it's old and obscure, that place is your best bet. You can hover the mouse over the game name and see a screen shot for most of the games (it can take a few seconds to load the shot though).
That's a huge amount of game titles I'll never find it :-\ And I don't know how old it is and I can't even remember how good the graphics were... I probably played it about 6 years ago or something like that. Meh... such is the fate of old but excellent games... ps thanks for the link, I'll skim it through but man... that will take ages. I stumbled upon a video which shows exactly how the game works, especially the rotate level thing: http://www.videosift.com/video/Incredible-3D-Puzzle-Game-Cube Thought I'd post it, might help someone remember :-\
I recently got the megaman anniversary collection for my PS2 and I'm having a lot of fun with megaman 3 ;D good times, good times... But I still hunger to relive old games I used to play, and that's where you people come in, hopefully. I used to play a ridiculous football (soccer) game that had unrealistic players (think cartoony) with a distinct side view of the pitch. As far as I remember the teams who you could play were Germany, Argentina, Italy, Brazil, Holland, England, Cameroon, France, United States, and Japan, all with distinct skin colours and maybe eye shapes as well ;D Players had differing faces and relatively big heads compared to their bodies. What else can I remember... well, if you kicked the ball really hard it made a funny sound and started playing colours ;D and tackling was basically elbowing the hell out of the opponent... and you could also kick them with the ball and they would fall to the ground. Oh, and I don't know which platform I played it on it's either NES, Sega megadrive, or a black console with two blue buttons on either side at the front. There was also a lever in the middle to help the yellow cartridges out (can't remember the name). Well, there you have it. Sorry for the jumble, I just put my memories down as they came. Kettle to whoever gives me the title!
Kuvasz, look for Kunio Kun series, there was not only football but also basketball, hockey, martial arts and maybe more. It was on NES. I'll try to look for the exact thing, but from the description I'm pretty sure that's the thing EDIT: This seems to be it, but I don't wanna look for emulators for it ;D If not, maybe this for sega genesis, never played this one, but looks similar Oh and I hope you didn't expect english version, but if that's the right title it shouldn't be hard to find it, I know I've had it some (long) time ago
It's the second one! ;D And no need for an english version, it's perfectly playable, without any emulators. Thanks! Kettle is first thing after the move :good: @Vamp: I have no idea what that is. I'm not a big gamer, I only like retro stuff
You're welcome, the first one was one of the best games I played on NES (though I think basketball was better :] )
Meh I got stuck during half time... I think I'll need an English version to find my way through the menus. But the music... the faces... AHAHAHA ;D ;D Now I'll just need to find a way to port it to the PS2 edit: I think the title I'm actually looking for is Goal 3. Nevertheless, I'm on track now. I don't think any of you can imagine what I'm feeling right now ;D
Isn't Goal 3 the game from the first link I gave? That's how we called it ages ago, but I thought it was wrong sticker on a cartdrige or something ^_^ (and it was in japanese too, but who needed english version back then? ;D)
