Planning on buying a new keyboard (with macros) to make gaming (StarCraft only) a bit easier. The Logitech G19 looks pretty nice and while I probably wouldn't have much use for the LCD during gaming, it's going to be pretty useful for normal use (I like to keep track of hardware temps but I hate widgets cluttering up the display). Still, I'm keeping my options open. What keyboard do you guys use for StarCraft? What things do you like or hate about it? Any additional information you might want to share? Thanks! P.S. Mouse recommendations also welcome.
It's just a suggestion, but you could go for one of the gamepad things, that are perfect for games like Sc2. Take a look: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128293&pf_rd_i=468294 EDIT: Never mind, scratch that. I forgot about the hotkey stuff. Sorry.
I have the G110, very nice keyboard big selection for Macro keys, I think it has the most out of all the G's? not sure though. Keys light up to any color between red and blue. Windows key lock multimedia keys etc....
Both the G110 and G19 have 12 macro keys. I think the only difference might be the LCD. Just saw the SteelSeries StarCraft II Zboard. That's another keyboard added to the shortlist. Kinda favoring it right now since it seems particularly noob-friendly.
