logging on to battle.net forums

I try to log on to battle.net forums, but I can't. This is my first Blizzard game and I've only gotten the beta CD key. Is that the problem?

 

Seems kinda obvious, but have you made a battle.net account yet? You can't log in with only a key. ^^

 

well i have been playing sc2 for about a week now...so yea i've made an account.

 

I'm in the same boat. You can't register for a forum account unless you have you have a old game..

I used to own the whole collection minus WoW but my ex kept my cd keys unaware of my knowledge
