Hey guys, Just wanted to make you aware that I've opened a new site, Left4Deadforum.org. It's going to be part of the network of sites we're operating, so feel free to stop by and check it out if you're a Left4Dead fan. Hopefully we'll be implementing some great features like OpenID between all ORG Network sites so you'll only have to login and create an identity (and customize profiles) once. Enjoy!
The forum will be left 4 dead? Doesn't sound like a very active forum to me Anyways, never played the game, so I wouldn't know anything about it.
Jon has an obsession with both the .org address and websites with numbers and letters. It's pathological, his doctor needs to up his dosage.
I haven't been playing too much of Left 4 Dead lately anymore but I'll check it out sometime, especially when the new DLC releases! If anybody wants to play it however just pm me, I'd be happy to game with anyone on here.
Signing up, same name. Xbox player though, because although L4D runs on my PC, it's on terribly horrible graphics, and the loading screens take forever.
l4d doesnt work good on my comp -_- downloaded and tried Is there any possibility that the downloaded version needs better comp?
That's only handy if all the connected sites are active and generally a nice place to be in. I can see the latter happening but what are the odds of the former being achieved by people interested primarily in a totally different genre and game? I'd like to say we should try and keep our prestige of being a good SC2 site instead of trying to spam new sites to form a network but because of the recurring shop wipes I doubt we even qualify as a prestigious SC2 site anymore. Question: Is there any way I could get rid of the blingbling L4D banner?
Well, first off, if anything launching L4DForums is only getting me MORE involved in SC2Forums. It's making me work on vBulletin more and look into customization and WordPress. In fact, I just learned yesterday how to impelement more videos on SC2Forums and will be inputting that very soon here. As far as the shop goes, I think LK is doing a great job customizing that and I will be helping him soon with that as well to get it up and running as soon as possible. I actually think the old version of the shop was a hindrance and that unless it had crashed we wouldn't be getting a better version now as I would have stuck with it. Furthermore, our partnership with ORG Network and StarCraft.org can only bring better features and implementation in the future. My proof of this is my increase in activity level over the last two weeks. So neener neener. And I will remove the L4D banner for users with more than 200 posts within the week. In the meantime if you guys would help me out by continuing to visit it (and voting for it on L4D Top 100 on the image to the right of the forums) I would be very appreciative as I try to get the site off the ground. Thanks!
