ill be going to the mall tomorrow and im thinking of buying left 4 dead,
i gotta ask... is it as great as everybody say it is?
and how long have i been missing out?

 

i think you should get it, are you getting it on PC? if you are then good, right now i would recommend that version over the 360 version because the upcoming patch which includes a new campaign mission (Crash Course) is going to be free while the 360 version have to pay for the patch and there are fan made campaigns in the PC version.

Anyways, it is a brilliant game and its best to play with friends, that's where it really shines.

or well just scream like a bunch of sissies

 

Left4Dead2 is coming along as you may know...

So L4D won't see any decent updates.

TF2 on the other hand have plenty of updates ahead.

 

though Valve said they will update L4D even if L4D2 comes out but not too sure for how long though...

L4D is funnish. The same 4 campaigns gets hella old, but if you're playing with buddies, it's still pretty fun. Versus leaves something to be desired, since you have to be REALLY good to be Infected.

Survival is hella bomb though.

Go for the PC one. More maps, free content, and MODZZZZZZ

 

You don't have to be "REALLY" good to be infected..
You just have to be smart.. as a smoker, pull on bridges and stuff so survivors fall down.
And use teamwork, a mic is good to have.

 

Considering two shotgun blasts is enough to kill most infected, yes, you have to be good at not getting shot by four people.

Playing as Infected is ALL about teamwork.

 

Up close clean hit can insta-kill the Witch on the head with the shotgun (auto shotty preferred). Just be patient, don't hesitate and don't rush it, just do it and the Witch is ready to get Cr0wned.

 

i have seen videos of l4d on youtube. From what i have seen my opinoin is that i dont want to waste money on that.

 

how many campaign missions are there? im gonna get the PC version

 

4 soon to be 5.

There are custom ones ofc, but not as good as the Valve ones.

Playing LFD online is all about teamwork.
Try playin' survivors with an ***hole that runs away or stays behind.

No, it aint 4 maps.
It's 4 campaigns..

Maybe as many maps as in the HL2 campaign.

 

There's 5 maps to a campaign.

 

I like Left4Dead. Play it all the time. Great game, terrible for n00b players.

25 damage pounces are hella fun.

 

I love left 4 dead, but you can find me in Garena server in the Malaysia room. Yeah if you communicate with typing without any mic it's gonna be a problem. I really hate where people aren't communicating using a mic and typing all on the game. But it's a good game in a versus mode where the Infected are everywhere and ready to pwn you if you're alone. So get this game and head down to the server so we can play together.

 

You simply must play it online, with friends when possible. If you don't like teamwork, don't get it. If you do, then the 20/25 standard maps alone will provide fun for months. Still, I would wait for the sequal. Good chance that it gets all of the part 1 maps as dlc anyway.

Just don't startle the Witch if you're alone, 'cause you will die 50 percent of the time.

What Infected do you guys like best? I'm pretty good with a Boomer. Always play split-screen + xbox live with a friend. He grabs them as a smoker, I puke on the people who rush back. 2 Hunters move in. I love playing against noobs. Playing with them sucks, though.
