Oh Valve. To think I held you in high regards. http://pc.ign.com/dor/objects/14352245/left-4-dead-2/videos/l4d2_gmp_fireammo_052809.html http://pc.ign.com/dor/objects/14352245/left-4-dead-2/videos/l4d2_gmp_dockstart_052809.html - Coach: Highschool football coach from the Savannah area. - Rochelle: Works for cable news network. Was producing a segment on the outbreak. - Ellis: Southern boy mechanic. - Nick: Gambler/Conman. Unsure of his company and cynical about the events. The "Charger" shown in the trailer can pick you up and smash you into the ground repeatedly until you get saved. http://i440.photobucket.com/albums/qq122/MajorWilly/left4dead2info.jpg I'm so disappointed Valve.
Is .. Valve with EA?? Damn it, they're just going to mass-produce low quality games from now on! This madness has got to stop!
that doesn't seem healthy, at all. Anyway, I agree its way to early for a sequel, if they showed this next year it would have been fine, but im probably going to get it anyway.
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2009/06/01/left-4-dead-2-exclusive-rps-preview/ Made me feel slightly better reading that. Hopefully valve can pull it off, but i really wanted a portal 2 and Half life episode 3 =(. If its 50$, i might do the unthinkable and wait a month or 2 for a better price since MW2 and Bioshock 2 are coming out around then (SC2 as well?!). Unless its all just a bit trick to make us not expect an Orange Box 2 xD "Runs off to worship poster of Gabe"
^ Hell, that article made me feel worse. Axes and baseball bats: fine. Frying pan: humor's out of place, but still reasonable. Incendiary ammunition? Why would that be available anywhere outside of an armory? I just hope Valve does a LOT of character work between now and release, both for the survivors and special infected. I don't see why we need a new zombie to run you down and smash your face into concrete when a Tank could do the job jut fine.
On L4D411, a couple of guys, and myself, have theorized that this is one of valve's intimate practical jokes and that they are soon going to drop an A-Bomb of news on something big. It actually makes sense.
