    All of these features are so basic they shouldn't even have to be mentioned in a commercial..

    I watched the video.

    Guess what guys.

    They have the same exact thing on their consoles (and I mean this looks like exact clone of XBL) and every hardcore COD and Halo player buys dresses.

    No. They don't. This is designed to get our mom's and little sisters into gaming, to build revenue for Microsoft from untapped markets. The biggest competitor right now, for both the games market and the 'social' aspect that comes with it is Valve/Steam. This is all fine and dandy for Valve, but Msoft has very little chance of pulling gamers away. So what are they doing? Like I said, untapped markets. I've never seen my 50 year old mother playing Half Life 2, but I have seen her playing Farmville. My sister's not so much into controlling an army and decimating her foes as she is into dressing up cute little avatars.

    Chillax bros. Msoft isn't going to force you to wear a dress to play the newest Dawn of War game.

    haha it is a clone of xbox live!! Trust, people buy into those useless avatar clothings and what not... bunch of my buddies buy like COD or Halo accessories for the avatars. Why? Some like to and some have left over microsoft points from buying a new map pack or soemthing so they say why not! lol... either way msoft is pretty smart on making people impulse buy useless junk...

    Is miscrosoft really that deparate? i mean you'd have to be an idiot to go along with that, who wants to buy useless stuff with real cash, when you can just save it for the next biggest game.

    In this thread, people missing the idea.

    Guess what the current most profitable major game company is. Activision? Nope. Blizzard!! Not even. Ubisoft? No sir.

    No, the answer is Zynga. But, wait! you ask. I've never even heard of them or played one of their games! What do they produce for? PC? Xbox? Wii? They are the devious masterminds behind the most played game in existence: Farmville. Yep. Farmville. And these people have more money than god himself. Why? Because people LOVE to buy useless stuff with real cash.

    Tractors. New cows. Silly shirts. Themes.

    I reiterate: This is not for us heavy duty gamers. This is for your mother, your sister, your cousin who's kinda sorta a redneck but has a PC that he sometimes plays games on.
