yeah! I got into closed beta of LOL (league of legends), anyone heard about it / expierended it? Looks 2nd class graficwise but very nice gameplaywise imo. Im instaling it right now.
A link to the official site, a few screenshots, and a youtube video of it would've been nice. Or a brief summary of what you do.
Kuvasz: "Im instaling it right now." I know as much as you do... Actually I cant get it to work so thats a good start ehh. Edit: Ok, i have played it a bit now, and I must say.... its really bad. Gameplay is worse than dota. Grafics are much worse. Too laggy and too hard to see what is what. Hero concepts (those I played) just wasnt doing it for me, so im uninstalling it guys. Sorry for the advertisiment of such a bad game.
Not really, I just a beta sign-up and thought whatever, the trailers looked good you know. Then i forgot everything about it until today when I got the mail. I think it was a good choice not investing more time into it. But its free!
Just looked at some screenshots from their website (just google League of Legends) and...it looks like Gauntlet: Dark Legacy mixed with Warcraft 3 played on a monitor that has its color saturation set WAY too high.
A way better DotA standalone game is Heroes of Newerth. Look it up on youtube. Heroes of Newerth is so good, that I actually enjoy it. I'm in the elitist-styled beta. It's funny, because I FUCKING hate DotA but love HoN, even though everybody says they're pretty similar.
Yea, we already had a topic on Heroes of Newerth. I was in the beta of HoN but I don't like Dota at all so I didn't play much and got rid of it after awhile.
