hey guys my laptop, is an alienware m15x with the following specs: Intel core i7 740-qm @1.73ghz- 2.9ghz 6mb cache l3 4gb ram Nvidia GTX 460m 1.5GB GDDR5 and starcraft recomends me to play with intermediate settings, and even in intermediate it runs kinda slow and laggy, and ive read everywhere that i should be running it way better than this, does anyone got any ideas why im having this troubleshoot? thanks in advance.
this sounds mad, is your PC seeing all the RAM? and also what is the RPM on your hard drive?? What OS are you running? and are you running a large amount of other things at the same time? If you can take a DXDIAG screenshot as well as a screenie of the processes running when starcraft is lagging (alt + tab to get outta SC2) and Ill see what the hardware and processes say.
Could also be heat issues. Maybe using your laptop for a few hours and then start playing SC2. That'll make some heat issues.
