    Can you play LAN matches in SC2? Like one person versing another on the same network using different computers.

    I don't really play much online, maybe a few matches here and there but I like playing LAN matches against friends when they come over.

    na you can't mate... if you both have an account tho you could just log in online and play against each other in the same house or whatever.. No LAN is no reason to not get the game :p

    That is good enough for me. I am still going to get the game anyway. I just wanted to know about LAN matches. So if you have one copy of SC2 can you install it on more than one PC if you create more than one account? Is that how it works?

    You can only have one account per game.

    Yea.. When you get your CD key your made to link it to a battle.net account.. You can't play without using this account... therefore, you each need a copy of the game to play against each other

    Damn! I had a feeling that was the case. It seems to be the way most PC games are going these days for licensing anyway.
