How good are you at typing at your keyboard? And what kind of keyboard do you have?

I really suck at typing, and my keyboard doesn't even have a real brand, because it's so old and I don't want to buy a new one.. But when I'm done with learning how to type blindly, I will buy this one. It's so hardcore...

EDIT: Lol, I found an exact match with mine, but this one is being used to grow herbs on... I guess my keyboard really sucks. :p

I ve got a Speed Link flat metal keyboard http://www.progamingshop.sk/images/sl-6465_10.jpg
I don't have any problems with it, and the multimedia buttons are useful too. I like the laptop style keyboards, it is easier to type with this than a normal one.

    @Hunter
That's a really, really nice keyboard. The only downside is that it's rather expensive. It costs about 50 euros in Holland on most internet shops.
    That's about $70,- and a bit out of my "what-I-am-willing-to-pay-for-a-keyboard-budget". ;)

The keyboard I have is the standad MS brand trash but after several years of use it still works so I have nothing against it. Probably could use a cleaning though

Heres the biggest hint when buying a keyboard..

DO NOT BUY A CORDLESS ONE.

They are remote and do not get all keys working fully...

    Plus they require batteries ftl.

    DONT GET ONE.

My keyboard... the god of gaming keyboards. With 54 programmable keys, media controls, LCD display, and gaming to desktop modes, it puts the hard in hard core. It is... the Logitech G-15! (old version)

I wouldn't Why do you think I use MS brand crap?

I just thought the OLED keys are awesome. They can be ANYTHING. Imagine playing starcraft and the hotkeys turn into the symbol for the unit or skill that is bound to that key.

OMG! Is Dell an affiliate of this forum... I hate their computers, and their keyboards. ;)
You never get a real windows install disk with their pc's, they are way to expensive for what you get and the service is crappy. (at leas in Holland)

On the other hand, Alienware is an affiliate to. Their computers rock!

I forgot about their monitors. I have to agree with you on that one, since those are really nice. Bit I thought that you only can get one when you buy a complete Dell system?

Maybe I should buy one then. I am still using a crt-screen. I mean, they are really fast, but the resolution is to low and it covers a way to big part of my desk. :p

But how about Dell keyboards? We have them at school and all of those hyper new students constantly break them as if they were made out of cardboard. That can't be good. I smashed my keyboard over and over at my desk to kill a REALLY big spider, and it still works fine. ;)

A decent keyboard ($50) is damn near indestructable. Its the only piece of hardware that dosn't have to be replaced every 2 years. I have the keyboard from an old XT sitting around here somewhere.
