We're not sure exactly what the deal is with the recent upsurge in interviews to obscure video game websites, but apparently Frank Pearce and Bob Colayco sat down with TVG to discuss the ongoing development StarCraft 2. They covered the usual topics without any direct new information (except maybe more of a confirmation that SC: Ghost is not under development), so unless you're a conspiracy enthusiast with a penchant for reading between the lines to find information that's not there, you're not going to glean much from this interview. In the interview they talked mostly about StarCraft 2, a little bit about StarCraft: Ghost, and the obligatory mention of WarCraft, Blizzard's current goliath flagship title. Maybe you'll find some worthy tidbits that we missed, but these days any time Blizzard sneezes it's news. TVG: There's no plan to even pave the way for a StarCraft RTS on the console by resurrecting StarCraft Ghost for instance? Pearce: No, we've got our hands full with StarCraft II, Diablo III, and Wrath of the LIch King - Ghost isn't even on the radar. TVG: Relic Entertainment has announced that Dawn of War II will be released in the first quarter of 2009; how do you feel about their ideas about where the RTS genre should be heading? Pearce: They've got some cool stuff. I've heard about Dawn of War II potentially having a co-operative [campaign] experience, which is a really cool idea. [It's] something we talked about that we don't have for the launch of StarCraft II, but it's definitely something that we've kept in mind when creating the technology so it doesn't preclude from doing something like that in the future. TVG: If you went down that path, is it something you'd consider for a patch or would you keep it back for an expansion? Pearce: It could be either. I don't know about a patch, hopefully the technology we'll have in place with the map editor and Battle.net will make it something that if we wanted to do, we could do it with a map pack. Interesting stuff. If they are doing interviews with a bunch of websites noone has heard of/cares about does that mean you might be able to corner somone from Blizzard and answer OUR questions?
Well that's true. But don't forget Karune owes us a Q&A from the I <3 SC contest. If you guys have a great question that you're dying to ask, send it to me!
 Meanie. I wouldn't call this interesting stuff btw, all they're doing is giving the impression that they share info but don't actually give any. I'd appreciate a bunch of screencraft a lot more than this small talk.
OK, so maybe they wouldn't answer our most tricky questions but wouldn't it be better if we asked minor, still interesting stuff rather than some other site asking if we'll see a fourth multiplayer race or how Reaper Mines work? Seriously, I can't see how our crappy questions could be any worse than other sites crappy questions. I say we go for it!
In one of the interviews it says this: Does this means there is a multiplayer content more then just the basic PVP that was in SC 1. Sure there were missions in there but they were just really basic things. I believe most of those were fan made anyway. Anyways this comment made me think what the multiplayer missions could be. And it seems that multiple plotlines are in the works too. If they'll be in the final game, who knows. I wonder if they'll be like that dual Terran mission in BW or something different. They talk about a Warcraft movie. I dunno about that. As the Dungeons and Dragons one really wasn't so good. I'd much prefer a starcraft or Diablo one. Actually the Diablo one could be made really creepy. Like a thriller set back in the days where people did believe in magic etc. But either way As long as they do a good job on it I'd be happy. Just not a Warcraft movie. That I won't see. Lastly I just hope that Activision don't put their branding all over the SC 2 box when it's released. We all know Blizzard did 100% of the work on it and deserve to be solely recognised for it.
If Blizzard carries over half of their dedication to quality into the movie then the WarCraft movie will be a big hit with all the World of WarCraft fanatics alone .. If it does well we might *crosses fingers* get a StarCraft or Diablo movie!!!
