Does anyone have a screen grab of this photo? hi res would be nice. I think it s a great picture and would love to have a go at drawing it but i cant find and good shot of it anywhere.
Well two things, 1) that would be incredibly awkward if anyone found out xP jkkk anyways, 2) It could be just to get to know the style of the pic, if he really liked it. (just an idea) or, to practice his own skills
Take a look at this. I can appreciate using reference pictures to create a unique piece of art, but I find copying official artwork, copying fan art, or copying copied "art" to be just bloody stupid. It's like copying answers off of someone during a test or exam - sure you get all the right answers, but in the end you still haven't learned a damn thing, and if you have the balls to say "This is my work" then the shit will only hit the fan harder when people find out that it isn't your work. Just go ahead and make your own drawing OP. You may not be satisfied with the end result, but you'll learn ten times more about drawing than you would copying something.
dudes i just want the picture not lectures, i dont know how to draw girls thts why i need the reference picture. To Karaa, Who said i was going to pass it off as my own work you got real defensive real quick. I just wanna draw it ....and maybe have it as my desktop background
That's it isn't it? That's some straight up BS. For one thing thing, he is looking to hand draw something that is in CGI. 2nd, copying something else you see is a great way to build technical skill and understanding of things like light/shadow/ and proportion. I guess people should stop doing still life and portraits.
In terms of drawing... Tracing = no skill Copying for practice isn't bad at all. If he can copy a picture he likes, he can learn new styles for his own art. Check out Marcel Duchamp's Mona Lisa. Complete copy of the Mona Lisa, but with a mustache. And he's still a respected artist today (maybe not back then).
