Jim Raynor

In SC Original and perhaps in Expansion, we saw Jim Raynor as a marine or vulture (amongst other units).

Now that Tichus Findley (or whatever his name may be) is seen as the marine hero as well as the talk of the town,
what's Raynor going to do?

I would personally be interested in seeing a Jim Raynor marine with a Tichus Findley marine together in a mission

 

nah raynor will still be terrans best marrine. tychus is just he's personal bodygurad.

 

i think it's the other way round. Raynor, how ever much i like him, is old history. Tichus is the new shit. but yeah, it would be interesting to see T and J on a mission.

 

I bet he will be more like Mengsk was in the previous games; active in the story but you never see him in game.

 

Then again Mengsk was a "politician", not a soldier.

You'll see, Raynor will be one the battlefield again. No doubt about it

 

Jim Raynor will fall into the 'Second-Best Marine' slot as Tichus comes into play. Tichus will pwn all, and Jim will not.

 

Personally i think Jim will be more of a subtle, leader kinf of badass rather than all out visibly badass, while Tychus will literally raind badass-ishness around him in form of Gauss Rifle bullets that's gonna take out 92 Zerglings and 3 packs of Mutas... all at the same time.

 

tychus will be the lone warrior. he's not so much of a team player i think. well, i hope he is, but i am assuming he isn't

 

Jim Raynor will play a bigger role in the story and in the game in SC2 since he was in the actual SC1 game. Tychus only appeared in novels and other canon released by Blizzard and never was actually in the SC1 game.

 

this time Raynor can be some commander, like Duke or something, in some missions he had a BC - Hyperion, 10 years have passed, so I think it is quite posible.
As for Tychus I think that he would be the best candidate for beeing infested. He is a criminal that must serve as a marine for the rest of his life. He might be a good guy untill he meets Kerrigan and makes some deal wyth her to get him free from the suit and becoming an infested agent.

 

He already was the commander of Raynor's Raiders since the end of the first episode... hence the name

 

Kerrigan would have little-no interest in infesting him. He has no psionic powers (At least, he probably doesn't. He doesn't strike me as the kind to blow up something with his mind instead of his rifle), and the only thing special about him is his brute strength. If Kerrigan wanted that, she could just make an Ultralisk.

 

how about a tychus ultralisk or an infested tychus. he will surely blow up things pretty bad.

i think raynor will become a general in starcraft 2 and tychus will be a war hero. tycus will be the first marine to hold a state of the art four barreled rocket launcher. wheres one when you need one to blow up more zergs.

 

He already was close to being a general being the leader of Raynor's Raiders (what's in a name?), he can't get any higher.

 

Kerrigan can't turn him into an Ultralisk. A Terran and an Ultralisk are two different things. Turning Tychus into an Ultralisk would be like having a chicken morph into a duck. A Tychuslisk isn't going to happen.

 

More like a Spider monkey into a bear. A chicken and a duck are quite similar.

 

Tychus as an Ultralisk? Wow. What an idea.

 

so how do they make infested terrans?.. tychus is a meat, so when he becomes a zerg hybrid more likely he will be beasty like the ultralisk, and thus born a new zerg hero tychuslisk. lol.

anyway i think general raynor sounds good.

 

Always thought Raynor was kind of a redneck. :-\
