Jim or Mengsk?

While viewing the Artwork trailer for the High Templar bit, I watched the whole way through and saw this picture, puzzling me for a bit.



This can't be Mengsk because there is some artwork on the Starcraft 2 site with an older man with grey hair and beautiful clothing who I'm assuming, is the leader of Korhal.
The only other character I can think of that looks like this is good old Jim.

Your thoughts?

i always thought he was balled, he waxed or something, i never saw a ponytail, but tbh i wasnt looking.

 

Damn, I just checked out the profile part and it looks like he has short hair. And I always thought he had a pony tail ;D

Stukov was killed by Duran though. That was a sad moment indeed...

but does anyone actually think its Jim, i think its a new charachter cuase jim had very short hair, and mengsk is far to old.

 

Hair can grow quite a bit in 4 years.

 

Yeah I'm thinking this is Jim a few years after Brood War in the timeline. Hence real hair.

I hope its not a Raynor, cuz this guy on this picture looks like a male p***y

 

i dont think its raynour, but he looks bare cool, he smoking a cigar, a sign of coolness in starcraft

 

It's more like Mengsk, Raynor can't have white hair at the age of.......what, late 30s?

 

True this charachter doesnt look too much like the original jim, but I think that since he is now a main charachter, blizzard wanted to make him look more likeable. He looks like he's rugged and has seen battle. This is not Mengsk, this is raynor!

 

I'd wager Jim "grew up" so to speak.

Either that or it's a new character.

 

thats gotta to be raynor plus the hair. new heroes please, maybe a handsome new terran and not old looking guys. maybe a tom cruise look a like. heheh.

 

Mengsk always looked like a horse to me, so I see Raynor in that picture. I'm glad that he took care of himself these last few years. I think it's very plausible that it's a new character, but I really hope it's Jim. He shall KILL Kerrigan!

 

no, i think tychus will kill kerrigan. it looks like he doesnt know mercy and forgiveness.
