As everyone is awaiting for SCII,does any1 still care about or play SC1?

  2. I still play StarCraft multiplayer at least 10-15 hours a week and complete the campaign at least once a month.

I suck, but I'm playing again.

    Also, wrong section.

  7. 1) There's still anywhere between 30,000 players and 85,000 players on at any given time.

    2) What would be boring? The campaign? I love the campaign.

    3) Wrong section.

  11. 1) Use the edit button. Don't double post.

    2) What server are you on?

No, it means I have a lot of friends that pressure me into playing the game. The only part of the game I play because I absolutely enjoy it "fanatically" is the campaign. But, that's only because it helps tide me over until StarCraft 2 gets released and allows me to be more immersed in the story when I read the books and finally get to play the sequel. I play StarCraft right now mostly to say a long goodbye to it and to help me wait for StarCraft 2.

That's what I am going to do soon. Playing SC 1 and BW before playing SC2. But I think I will be able to finish the campaign 100 times before SC2 is released.

  13. Yeah, I can run through all of the campaigns in about ten hours. I usually complete them over a weekend. Once you learn tricks for each map and learn how many units and resources to get (instead of just massing an army with mass minerals), you'll fly through them.

That's why I complete them so often.

I still play as often as possible, need to work on my skills a bit for the sequal. Praticing a lot with multiple building selection in warcraft 3 is also reccomended. Further:
As far as I know, we have set up a hamachi server for members of this forum. Not sure if that still works, though.

I play on official b.net only. The game only costs what, 15 Euros? 10 Dollars? Not that much money for so much fun imo.

I don't know how people survive multiplayer. Single player isn't so bad (well except for Brood War - Zerg mission 8, that one is a real *****). But playing multiplayer effectively is like trying to solve a Rubics Cube with a time limit; it requires the most extensive of strategic thinking, forethought, and crazy multitasking that it is absurd.

me and my friends get together every other week with our computers to play Starcraft I and Warcraft 3, instead of games like WoW Or halo were playing oldbie games :p

    Which are awesome!.

  18. No, I'd say all you need is patience and practice. Both of which come from playing for a long time.
