    I'm pretty sure its fixed i do recall reading nvidia resolved the problem with their latest drivers so i suggest just update to the newest drivers and test it out. If your hesitant then have a temp monitor up while playing just to make sure

    I just got the game yesterday, updated my nvidia to latest driver 258.96. My game crashes after 5 minutes.

    I changed the log in the documents/starcraft II/variables and added the lines frameratecap=60
    frameratecapGlue=30

    but my system still crashes after approximately 5 minutes.

    Any thoughts on what I need to do?

    What are your system specs?

    Also to the OP i guess the answer to this threads title is a "No" because i too have some graphical glitches but no crashing yet. The way i figure is we all need to sit tight and wait for 1.1 patch which will hit in September and also wait on Nvidia to push out new drivers cause 258.96 aren't doing the job unfortunately

    Post a dxdiag dump. Install HWMonitor for temp monitoring.

    To run dxdiag=> Windows_logo_key+r, dxdiag. If you have 64-bit windows, click the button at the button that says "Run 64-bit DxDiag," Then save all the data by clicking "Save All Information..." zip/rar the text file and attach it to the post. Instructions on how to zip here. To create a rar file, first download and install winRAR then read this guide here.

    thanks to both of you for answers...@malinka..im not really worried about the graphical glitches.what Im more concerned about is my CPU temp..do you experience high CPU temp during playing.. thankfully, I also do not experience crashes yet...

    On my buddies 9800GTX, the card gets to be about 65C, and that is with the fan manually adjusted to 100%, normally it would only go to about 65% fan. The room is also air conditioned. If you had posted the dxdiag I requested, I could offer you more advice on manual fan control.

    Yea speaking of the 9800GTX i have the + version which uses the 55nm chip instead of the 65nm and i dont exceed 65C ever on any game with my fan only set to 55% which i cant even hear unless my PC is idle and even then i hear my CPU fan instead. my CPU is an E8400 and it doesnt go past i think 50C while under load. I use Asus Probe to see the temps since HW Monitor is inaccurate and says my temps are like 41C idle when its actually 34C

    thanks for recommending the hw monitor xev...it says about 45C when playing and 30-40 when idle
