    Hi,
    Will Starcraft 2 provide for playing against the computer (like Starcraft does) or is it strictly online player vs. online player?

    It does provide player vs computer mode!

    The game will have multiple play modes, including Campaign, play against the AI, quick challenges, in addition to ranked and unranked multiplayer.

    There is a new Coopertive system as well which allows you to make quick matches against AI with friends or with strangers.
