Is anyone else upset that...

WoW gets so much more attention and merch than Starcraft? Perhaps this is mostly bias but still you can find WoW merch anywhere but I can't find half or even a quarter as much as I can with starcraft or even Diablo for that matter. I get that WoW makes them the most money, but that doesn't mean they have to skimp out on their other games. And who's to say that Starcraft wouldn't make more money if they pushed it more?

Why aren't there any action figures of Kerrigan, Raynor, Duke, Fenix, Nova or Zeratul. I've found ones of the fire bat, hydralisk and Tassadar but even those are just cheap plastic ones. In WoW you can send your character in and they will create a fully replicated resin statue of your character, perhaps it is rather expensive but still. I could care less how much it is but why can't I, at the very, least get a decent figurine of one of the best villains of video game history? If anyone has found a site selling said figurine then please link it. Thank you.

What about comics? I would love for there to be some starcraft comics to read up on, I know that there are some books of which I have nearly all. Alas there are none, again to my knowledge.

 

well, there is a reason for that

Starcraft is a game that came out ten years ago, while new WoW expansions come out each year
when Starcraft 2 comes out i think they will get figures as well.
Also, WoW fans show that they are willing to pay, since they already pay a monthly fee, they might pay for just anything

also; i thought there are nearly as many starcraft books as warcraft books and there is a starcraft comic coming

 

I knew about the books, I'm not upset about the books, just the comics

Never thought about looking at it with the monthly fee in mind, suppose that does make sense. And I know it's all coming, and I'm glad that it finally is. I'm just upset that it isn't already here.

I don't think age goes into effect, there are plenty of games far older then starcraft that got figurines and misc. merch that got less attention then starcraft did.

IT was a Starcraft figuring that brought me into playing the game. It was a marine and a hyrdralisk that my bro's roommate had. They were coll until I broke the marines arm off.

 

I would've bought the Tychus Findlay statue but it was $199.99 ... which I think is ridiculous. That;s not even including additional costs like shipping, possible taxing, and everything else.

 

And you call yourself a Starcraft fan, ha ha. Joking aside, there are extreme fans that will pay anything for these things.

Fenix was my favourite character and is the coolest looking of the lot.

 

Hmm, I wonder if they would put Fenix in Zealot form, or Dragoon form... Also, would Kerrigan be a Ghost, or her current crazy Zerg self? And as for Raynor... Vulture, or Marine armour? (Doubting in the Hyperion...)

Looking back on it I think I should have added the Lurked and Archon, I think those would make fine additions. Perhaps even the Goliath

 

All the units and characters would make awesome figurings.

 

I love a Tassadar one.

Though there is a problem, SC units are always seen from afar, and concept arts always picture the units differently.

Take Kerrigan for example, there are so many different concept arts of her that it's hard to conclude what she really looks like.

The only units that have a set concept arts are the mechanical units, otherwise all the other heroes seem to have different concept arts.

lol i was just asking my friends who they like better Fenix or Zeratul and they said Zeratul but i was like Fenix. They laughed at me saying that more people like Zeratul over any thing in sc now i can show them this hahaha
