Is anyone else having an issue with the ladder rankings?

So I get back on the new beta, and I do 3-2 in my placements. Definitely not my best showing, and I place into Silver (which is incredibly depressing because I was in platinum in phase 1). So I say to myself, well you're rusty, just keep playing for a few days and you'll get it back.

So I do just that, and I claw my way from the depths of the Silver league, to rank #1 over the course of the next day or two. Now as rank 1 in my silver division I have played TEN games. My opponent was at least slightly favored in every match. Of those ten, I have won 7... and I am STILL in the silver league >:O.

So I got the idea to look at my last few opponents to see where they are, you know, am I at least playing gold league guys. Much to my surprise not only were my last three foes not silver guys, they were 2 platinums and 1 diamond league guys. And I beat all three of them!!! Why am I not moving up already!!!

Has anyone else had this problem?

 

yeah outta my 5 placement i won 4 and placed silver, dont understand it but meh... i didnt exactly play awesome in my games floating resources when i shouldnt have been. So maybe more than the win is taken into account? apm, unspent resources, time taken to win, could all factor in?

Also my placements started at 0 and went to -4.... but hey its a beta!

 

I lost 1 one of my placement 2v2 random games and still got place in diamond.. Not sure why.

 

I was stuck in practice league for 5 extra matches. After my first 7 games, the matches remaining listed -2, then -3, etc... until I finally got placed into Bronze League #5

 

I think they are probably going to have to work on it a bit more because as it stands, the system looks into streaks more than it should.

If you go 7W 3L, the computer might see it as you are winning 2 out of 3, without streaks so it doesnt see you as completely dominating....?

Idk, honestly it never made much sense to me, especially the points system where eventually ill be in second with a 15-8ish record while the person in 1st will be 50-48
