Hi, I have windows 7 install the game start it box pops up says update patch click yes goes to black screen nothing then box pops up says need patch click yes over and over again wont patch so wont start. Yes i have run as admin and downloaded the huge 7gb from BN that was the same no manual patch downloads shall i bin my game?
Okay, so you were able to download the game manually, but can't get the patch? That's... weird. First, read the FAQ on posting a dxdiag, also post your SC2 game logs (C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II\logs) and toss those in a zip with the dxdiag as well. If you are behind a router, please post its Brand and model # here. I'll be out to a movie, so you won't get a very fast response. :/
no router i will get the logs, no point post dxdiag i no this machine can play the game without any problems My brothers got the same pc
Are you using anything like PeerBlock or PeerGurdian? What security or virus scanners are you using? They may be blocking Starcraft 2 from patching/playing.
