I just purchased starcraft 2(dvd), i have attempted to install it on (win7 64 bit)both my account (administrator) and the secret administrator account, but to no avail. i keep getting a message declaring that i am not the administrator. i know this has probably happened somewhere and there is a simple solution but i have yet to find it. i wish not to waste your time, but help would be appreciated.

Even as a normal administrator, you sometimes have to right click on an application and click "Run as Administrator."

If that doesn't work, I feel maybe your machine has been compromised in someway (or maybe I'm just tired and think that's the solution to everything right now...).

Is this Windows Vista or Windows 7 (If this is Vista, do you have Service Pack 1 installed?)?

Installer should automatically prompt for administrator elevation though. Apparently some people have issues with this when the UAC in Vista is turned off... but once again, do not know what OS you are running.

That is weird. I can't figure that out. Maybe you got some spyware on the system? Try scaning with SUPERAntiSpyware. I know its got a wonky name, but its really good at getting rid of hard to remove spyware/malware like Vondo.

Also, what are you using for virus protection? If you don't have one, the best free one that free will buy is Microsoft Security Essentials. (Once again, the best free one is NOT AVG!!)

Its just fishy. When stuff like this starts happening, I can't help but feel the machine has been compromised in some way.
