I can't tell you how I know this information and I probably won't reply to this thread but;
SC2 Beta planned to begin 2nd half of march.
SC2 WOL Planned release Tuesday after Blizzcon.
D3 Beta key given at Blizzcon.
New MMO Project's first public appearance at Blizzcon
A full display of Battlenet's abilities in SC2 retail and anticipated D3 abilities at Blizzcon.
A playable demo of D3 including every retail character at Blizzcon.
There are plans for many SC2 related prizes/goodies at Blizzcon, including signed copies of SC2 WOL.

 

hmm...Im going to remain sceptical of this info, but stuff like showing D3 abilities and possible demo are likely for Blizzcon as they will be discussing D3.

I've become a bit less skeptical since I saw a similiar post at DiabloFans.com (then Diablo3.com). The person spoke in a rushed, ungrammatical, trollish way but everything he said ended up being correct.

He told us a few weeks before Diablo 3's announcement that the the next convention they would show a demo of Diablo 3 and that it would have a Barbarbarian and a Witch Doctor. He even described that the game would implement physics and would contain a bright, colorful outdoors scene. There were other things he said but I think you get the point.

Needless to say, none of us believed him and we "trolled" him back for toying with us since anticipation and anxiety over rumors circulating that Diablo 3 would be announced had reached it's peak.

In retrospect, we know that he did, in fact, have insider information. So, that changed me a bit

A playable demo of D3 including every retail character at Blizzcon? Sounds weird. I think it's a lot more likely for Blizz to show one new character at the BlizzCon, and the last one at another event.

According to this guy, the beta will be about 5 months long, which sounds right.
It's all a matter of when the beta begins IMO. If the beta actually starts in the second half of March, I'll probably believe in this guy's other statements.

 

Lol, Mars. But i hope the next Blizzcon will be a lot more satisfying.

Mate, it sound like that's the release date they're CURRENTLY targetting. None of his claims sound outrageous... And yeah, yeah: I know there are lots of trolls out there, but it all sounds plausible.

I can hardly wait for the Beta: I desperately need a new computer, but as I'm on a budget, I'm waiting to see what the optimal system requirements will be.

 

Anything's possible but we've got to remember this is Blizzard we're talking about.

I don't exactly buy it either, but we'll find out within a month whether his first claim was accurate.
His most daring claim is the supposed unveiling of a new MMO project...

Why is this daring? It makes perfect sense.

Oh, I see what you meant. You haven't heard that Blizzard's already announced this MMO project, have you? They've already unveiled it but they haven't officially announced it. The only thing we know about it is that they're putting people from World Of WarCraft on it now and that it's an entirely new IP.

This MMO was unveiled a little bit before BlizzCon 2008.

 

Even if a few things he says comes true it could just be good guessing on his part, I'm taking this info like a grain of salt.

 

Yes...i think its just him guessing...who knows he could be right.

But how can he be sure the game will come out on tuesday? Tuesday Globally?? Cuz if its tuesday in america, its wednesday in australia. See....every country has different time zones.
