Input not supported

    When i start up SCII it comes up with a black screen and a box saying input not supported, I can hear music playing in the background. Im useing a acer AL1716 monitor.

    vid card:
    NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS
    it uses DVI to VGA adapter from vid card to cable .. monitor input is VGA

    memory:
    2GB

    CPU:
    2 point somethin GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
