Input Not Supported

  1. I'm having a problem whenever I run Starcraft 2.

The screen turns black and I get a message saying "Not Supported". I can hear the background music and exit the game by pressing ESC.

I checked my specs online and everything is above the min. requirements.

    Windows Vista, Service Pack 2
    Intel Pentium Dual Core
    2GB RAM
    Nvidia Geforce 8500GT

All the latest drivers are installed. The latest DirectX is installed.

I have a hunch it is the screen solution that is the problem. I think that my monitor doesn't support the screen resolution Starcraft2 is booting up in. My current screen resolution is 1280X768. Thats the highest it will go.

I read another thread where they switched monitors to change the display settings in the game so that it would work on their prefered monitor. However, I don't have access to another monitor to do something like that.

Is there any way I can change the game's boot-up display settings without running the game first?

    Thanks!
